Download Zynbox

1. Tap “Download the APK”. If your browser warns that this type of file can be harmful, tap “Download anyway”.
2. When the download is complete, tap “Open”, or open from the Files app, Downloads folder.
3. The first time, Android blocks apps installed from a browser. Tap “Settings”, turn on “Allow from this source”, then go back.
4. Tap “Install”. If Google Play Protect offers to scan the app, accept: it takes a few seconds.
5. Open Zynbox. You can then turn “Allow from this source” off again for your browser, in Android’s settings.

Updates then go through Zynbox itself: the first time, Android asks you to allow Zynbox to install apps.

The Zynbox installer is not code-signed yet: until it is, Windows warns about it. To install it:

1. If your browser says the file is not commonly downloaded, choose “Keep” (in Edge: “…”, then “Keep”).
2. Open the downloaded file, .
3. On the blue “Windows protected your PC” screen, click “More info”.
4. Check that the file name is , then click “Run anyway”.
5. Follow the installer. Zynbox then opens from the Start menu.

On Windows 10, the installer adds the Microsoft WebView2 component if needed (requires an Internet connection).
